I bought the Café at the end of April 2014 after being in engineering since I was 16.It was always a dream of mine to own a sandwich shop or similar, when the chance to buy Trinity Bakehouse & Café came up I had to take it. The café had run under the name for around 3 years and had become popular. I kept on the cook and waitress to help the changeover and also to learn as much as I could about the business. Both Rachael and Sandii taught me the day to day running of the café and I thank them for this. Sandii is still with us today and runs the front of house to such a high standard that makes the customers keep coming back. Her sister Michelle is our cook along with myself, we take pride in making homemade lasagnes, quiches, chilli, omelettes in our kitchen. Matthew, Leah, Kelsey and Emily are our part time staff who are very friendly and the customers love them.
We are famous for our teapots, homemade chips(best in Wakefield), Homemade food. Our pies, meat, bread and eggs are all supplied by Wakefield businesses. Our Coffee is supplied by a Huddersfield company and is Fairtrade.
The café is doing ok, and over the last couple of years we have been trying to raise its profile in Wakefield and further afield with some success. My daughter has created this website for me to promote the café even further.
